Albert "Ben" Benjamin Fine, age 73, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Mr. Fine, son of Roy and Cleda (Daniel) Fine, was born on December 19, 1947, in Springfield, Missouri. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Springfield and subsequently attended Missouri State University where he received his bachelors' degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management. On December 7, 1991, he was united in marriage to Mary Ann Farwell in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Ben held several different jobs throughout his life including working for the Florida Health Department; District and Regional Manager of franchise restaurants such as Pizza Hut, Ken's Pizza, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Church's Chicken, Chicken Country, and the owner of Fine Fried Chicken in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; publishing and selling advertisements for Mozarks Telephone Directory making many friendships along the way. He was always proud of his children and all their accomplishments, and his grandchildren were always dear to his heart. Some of Ben's favorite pastimes were caring for his cattle, spending time with his dog, Arrow, hunting and fishing many tournaments. Ben became a Christian at a young age, then was baptized and joined East Avenue Baptist Church in Springfield and was most recently a member of the Golden Baptist Church in Golden. He was a member of Pythagoras Lodge in Cassville, Eastern Star, and a past member of the Gideons. Ben had a huge heart, was a friend to so many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Ann Fine, of Eagle Rock; one son, Bradley Fine and his wife Ashley, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; one daughter, Adrianna Fine, of Eagle Rock; two step-sons, Allen Marbut, of Baxter Springs, Kansas, and Shannon Marbut, of Springfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Connor, Drew, and Evelyn Fine; two sisters, Delores Thompson, of Springfield, Missouri, and Darlene Clark, of Kingsport, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the Golden Baptist Church Family Life Center in Golden, Missouri, with Pastor Shaun Crawford officiating; burial to follow at Roach Cemetery in Eagle Rock.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
