Andrew Smith, aged 42, passed away on July 15, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas, with his loving family at his side. Born on July 20, 1982, in Aurora, Missouri, to Dewayne and Beverly (Thomas) Smith, Andrew was a proud graduate of Cassville High School, Class of 2002. Throughout his school years, he worked at Skip White's Quarter Horse Ranch and The Rib, before embarking on a dedicated career in construction. Andrew married Elizabeth Julien on October 25, 2014, in Shell Knob, Missouri. Their union was blessed with a cherished daughter, Ella Smith, who brought immense joy and light to their lives.
Andrew was known for his deep appreciation of the outdoors, finding joy in activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, floating, and four-wheeling. He especially treasured the time he spent with his beloved daughter, Ella, who was the light of his life. Andrew also shared a special bond with his loyal companion, Bonnie, his blue heeler, who brought him comfort and friendship through the years. Andrew was also a member of Viola Victory Church in Shell Knob, Missouri.
Survivors include his daughter Ella Smith and her mother Elizabeth Smith; his mother Beverly Smith (Ron) of Jenkins, Missouri; one brother, Tyler Smith and his wife Audrey of Cato, Missouri; one sister, Tina Smith of Cassville, Missouri; two nephews Ian and Skyeland; and two nieces, Emma and Ava; he was called uncle Roo by his nieces and nephews, several aunts and uncles and numerous cousins; and his loyal companion Bonnie.
Andrew is preceded in death by his father Dewayne Smith, and his grandparents, and two uncles David and Darrell Smith.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 21, 2025, at 1:00 pm at White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri, officiated by Pastor Jason Ponder. A visitation will be held two hours prior to service.
Memorials may be made to his daughter Ella Smith and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
