Barbara Jane Owens, 84, of Grove, Oklahoma, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She was born in a little house in Purdy, Missouri, on December 23, 1938, to Hurshell and Edna (Letts) Owens. Barbara enjoyed sewing, crocheting and decorating; she also loved to travel and go places.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Owens and Faye Owens; two brothers, Louis Owens and Ray Owens; three sons, Lee, Bud, and Eric Walters; one daughter, Tammy Walters.

Survivors include one brother, Robert Owens of Anderson, Missouri; one daughter, Ruthie Townsend and her husband Tom, of Seligman, Missouri; two sons, Kirk Walters and his wife Linda, of Pierce City, Missouri, and Jeremy Clark of Grove, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her very good friend, Kenny Moore, of Butterfield, Missouri.

A memorial service is planned for later this summer.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
