Bettie "Sue" Floyd Sims, age 77, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Northwest Arkansas.

Sue was born May 2, 1946, the daughter of Ted and Lela (Rose) Floyd.  On December 15, 1995 Sue married Rockford "Rock" Sims, the love of her life in Miami, Oklahoma. Sue and Rock made their forever home on their little "farm" in Exeter Missouri. They spent many happy days together until Rocks passing on August 16, 2017.

Sue was one of seven children. Proceeding her in death are her parents, brothers; Tommy Clarence "Bob" Floyd, Fred Floyd, and sister Lou Troutman. She is survived by three sisters; Rosalee Strickbine, Mary Anderson and Ruth Crossland and a very special sister-in-law, Betty Floyd.

Sue is also survived by her children; Jeff and Christy Russell of Exeter and Ben (Benji) Russell of Crane.  Her grandchildren; Lindsey, Eryn, Jacob, Ashton, Ben, and Madison and her four great grandchildren; Kynnadi, Kyndall, Kadyn, and Kash.

Sue loved watching the deer in her field and the flowers bloom. She was always excited to see the progress and rebuilding Jeff & Christy made around the farm and although it was only for a few short months, she loved her new house and having Jeff and Christy as her neighbors. Sue also enjoyed Sunday suppers with Jeff, Christy and Ben and she liked crocheting, emailing her sisters and playing Yahtzee, Dominoes and Phase 10 with Eryn.  Sue often spoke of keeping Lindsey for a week at a time when she was little and telling stories of when she and Rock were married.

Sue was deeply loved by her family and although they see and have daily reminders of her, she is and will be greatly missed.
