Bill C. Lee, age 82, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville. Mr. Lee, son of R.J. and Mary (Havens) Lee, was born on June 17, 1937, in Brownville, Texas. He was united in marriage to Mydrith Clark on August 14, 1956, until her passing in 1984; he later married Betty Lee.
Bill was a man of many talents and very proficient at putting them to work. He owned several businesses with the most recent being a saddle maker in Vinita, Oklahoma, before he retired and moved back to Missouri. Other things he endeavored were becoming a truck driver at the age of seventeen, a police officer, pilot, welder, farmer, shoed horses, horse trader, equipment operator, taught leather working at local college, water well business, and spent many years preaching. Bill always had time to preach a good sermon when needed and to tell of Gods wondrous work. He loved a good story whether he was telling it or just listening. Bill also enjoyed singing especially western songs and hymnals.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Harville, of Shell Knob; two grandchildren, Dale Jackson and Kelly Jackson, both of Cassville; eight great-grand-children; Chase, Cole, and Cale Jackson, Sheridan, Julian, and Kalen Ponder, and Michael and Pierce Corn; three brothers, Bobby Lee and Donald Lee, both of New Mexico, and Stan Lee, of Texas; three sisters, Helen Lott, Kay Burleson, and Betty Fugua, all of New Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Tolbert on December 31, 2017, and his grandson, Richard Joshua Kiefer.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Jamesville Cemetery, in Jamesville, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
