Billy "Bill" Ray Wrenfrow, age 67, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Son of James and Anna Pearl (Cook) Wrenfrow, Bill was born on July 20, 1955, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. On August 15, 2003, he met the love of his life, Dena Miller, and they spent a beautiful and happy life together.
Bill was an avid lover of all things horses and cattle, devoting most of his life to them. Bill enjoyed roping and riding, touring with the Bud Mayberry Rodeo Company for a time. Bill traded, sold, and shod horses throughout his life, even working as a ranch foreman. Bill was a cowboy and a gentleman; he will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Dena, of Seligman; two daughters, Nocona Russell, of Sarcoxie, and Cheyenne Clark, Seneca; one son, Tristan Smith, of Seligman; five grandchildren, Tessa, Ripp, Roper, Ryder, and Rhett; one great-grandson, Cyrus; three brothers, Eddie Wrenfrow, of West Plains, Jim Wrenfrow, of Garfield, Arkansas, and Doyle Wrenfrow, of Springfield; one sister, Hazel Smith Wrenfrow, of Flippin, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Joe Wagner and Robert Wrenfrow; one sister, Linda Kay Wrenfrow; and special friend and running buddy, Bones Skelton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at White Funeral Home, Cassville, with Pastor Justin Harris officiating. Burial to follow at Seligman City Cemetery in Seligman.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
