Bob D. Powell age 89, of Exeter, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at Roaring River Health and Rehab, Cassville, Missouri. Mr. Powell, son of Cecil G. and Grace (Pitts) Powell, was born October 3, 1933, in Union County, New Mexico.

During his younger years he lived in Dodge City, Kansas, and El Paso, Texas, finally moving to Cassville in 1980. He worked as an excavator contractor, dairy farmer, and owner-operator of the Taco House in Cassville. Bob was a good friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Powell and his wife Cheryl of Exeter, Missouri; two daughters, Beverly Deeds and her husband Bob, of Sante Fe, New Mexico, and Patty Cox and her husband Roger, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son Glen Powell and two brothers.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
