Bones Skelton, age 60, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020. Mr. Skelton, son of Jim and Florence (Bargay) Skelton, was born on December 27, 1959, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In 1986, he was united in marriage to Debra "Pokey" Camp and to this union two children were born. Bones was a rancher who enjoyed cattle pinning, roping and riding horses. He was a very loving and caring man who would help anyone. Bones lived life to the fullest, never met a stranger, and was always the life of the party. He touched so many lives from children to adults leaving a lasting impression no one will forget.
Survivors include his son, Dustin Skelton and his wife Tara, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; his daughter, Megan Skelton, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; one grandson, Lane Skelton; one granddaughter on the way, Loren; three brothers, Harold Skelton and his wife Mary and Johnny Skelton, all of Seligman, and Steve Skelton and his wife Tina, of Port Arthur, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Chestnut, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Jeanie Thomas and her husband John, of Bentonville, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Debra "Pokey" Plumlee, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Skelton and Sid Skelton; and three sisters, Debbie Skelton, Mary Jane Douglas and Sharon "Kay" Gautney.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
