Bonnie Yvonne Sartin, age 78, of Golden, Missouri, passed away comfortably at her home on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Sartin, daughter of William and Hazel (Groupe) Lafollette, was born on March 14, 1940, in Springfield, Missouri, where she was raised by her mother and step-father Claude Soden, Sr. On May 19, 1956, she was united in marriage to Joe Sartin, Sr. in Greenfield. Mrs. Sartin was a homemaker and raised her six children before going on to work as a cook at the Golden School and then Ball & Prier, also in Golden. They then moved to Springfield for many years but returned to Golden in 2008 where she enjoyed her retirement with her family. Mrs. Sartin was one of the kindest people who opened her heart to many people and was loved by all that had the privilege of knowing her; she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joe Sartin, Sr., of Golden; her children, Donna Johnson, Darlena Sartin, Joe "Bodie"Sartin, Jr. and his wife Cindy, Vincent Sartin, Russell Sartin and his wife Pam, and Rose Pierson; one brother, Claude "Junior" Soden, Jr. and his significant other Sandy; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and Charlie Ritchie and his wife Robin whom she considered as a son

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, six sisters, and her granddaughter, Ashley Yvonne Truax.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
