Clark
Nov 20, 1977 — Jul 16, 2022
Butterfield
Christopher Wade Clark, age 44, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at home on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Son of Jerry and Alice (Garrett) Clark, Chris was born on November 20, 1977, in Monett, Missouri. On June 19, 2021, Chris was united in marriage to LaiLa Riffe, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; she survives.
Chris enjoyed working in the yard, planting and watching things grow. He liked to hunt arrowheads. He loved animals, always taking in those who needed a home. Chris had a way of taking in stray humans as well, always helping others and giving them a safe place to land in difficult times. Chris had the voice of an angel and he loved to sing. He was a gentle spirit, writing poetry whenever he felt inspired. Chris had a quick wit, a wicked sense of humor, and a smile that could light up the room, even on the darkest of days. He was kind, forgiving and humble. Chris didn't need the fancy things in this world, he simply loved life and loved people. Chris was a unique and dear soul; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, LaiLa (Riffe) Clark, Christopher is survived by two children, Wyatt Black and Audrey Gosvener, of Cassville; one daughter by choice, Analeigh Vesta, of Cassville, whom he loved and thought of until his last breath; his parents, Jerry and Alice (Garrett) Clark, of Cassville; one brother, Travis Clark, and his wife Cookie, of Butterfield; nieces, nephews, and countless treasured friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Clint and Anna Mae Clark; maternal grandparents, Randy and Doris Garrett; and maternal great-grandmother, Vesta Reid.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Butterfield Community Building. The family asks those who attend to bring a story, a memory and food to share.
