Cynthia Sholes, age 84, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at Lacoba Homes in Monett, Missouri. Mrs. Sholes was born on March 7, 1934 in Jackson, Michigan where she was raised by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Vern Bissell. On December 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Duane Sholes; he preceded her in death on June 17, 2013. She loved watching all types of sports especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoyed her animals.

Survivors include her son, Brad Sholes, of Aurora; her daughter, Sandra Barron, of Cassville; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Lynn Sholes.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at McKinney Cemetery on Farm Road 2155, in Aurora, Missouri, with Pastor Jamie Smith officiating.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
