Dalite Dallas Taylor, age 70, of Purdy, Missouri, passed away on September 17, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri.

Dalite was born on July 2, 1956, in Nicut, Oklahoma, to Mun and Maggie (Dillis) Taylor. He married the love of his life, Karen Mattingly, on February 14, 1998, in Monett, Missouri.

Dalite enjoyed motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. He loved fishing at Roaring River and was a devoted sports fan, especially when it came to his beloved OU Sooners. Above all, Dalite treasured his family. He loved his grandbabies immensely and took great pride and joy in spending time with them.

Dalite was proud of his Cherokee heritage. He was a member of the Bellefonte Indian Baptist Church, where he was baptized at the age of 13. His faith, family, and heritage were an important part of his life.

Dalite will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Karen; his family; his grandbabies; and all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and the love he shared with them will never be forgotten.

Dalite is survived by his wife Karen of 28 years; one daughter, Jacy Cash and her husband Kyler of Purdy, Missouri; one son, Ridge Privett and his wife Vanessa of Cassville, Missouri; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Nofire, Diane Daugherty, and Lou Soap all of Muldrow, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister Janie Taylor.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at White Funeral Home and Crematory. A graveside service will follow immediately at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield, Missouri, with words of comfort provided by John Hile.

Memorials may be made to the family and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
