Darrell Austen Smith, age 57, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.  Mr. Smith, son of William and Rose (Woodell) Smith, was born on December 2, 1962, in Harrison, Arkansas.  He was employed by Justin Boots in Cassville for many years.  Mr. Smith enjoyed the outdoors such as fishing and hunting, going to the casino, pawn shops, and flea markets. He never missed a chance to watch the Dallas Cowboys and Nascar,  and loved spending with his grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Austin Smith, of Shell Knob; two daughters, Stephanie Carlson, of Washburn, and Rachel Wagner, of Dallas, Texas; twelve grandchildren, one brother, Donnie Smith and his wife Kandi, of Berryville, Arkansas; three sisters, Cindy Leftwich and her husband Bill, of Clifty, Arkansas, Lisa Todd and her husband Allen, of Clifty, Arkansas, and Angela Smith, of Nome, Alaska; his sister in-law, Beverly Smith, of Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by two brothers, DeWayne Smith and David Smith, and one sister, Kathy Farmer.

No services are scheduled at this time.  A private family burial will be held at Clio Cemetery, Jenkins, at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
