Dianne K. Butler, age 79, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away on March 5, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Butler, daughter of Neil and Analou (Carr) Kivett, was born on September 7, 1943, in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Dianne was a 1961 graduate of Bogalusa Senior High School; she was united in marriage to Buddy Butler on September 22, 1979; he survives. Dianne worked at Indian Hills Resort in Shell Knob and was a proud supporter of Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary located in Washburn. She was a member of the Shell Knob Divas and a member of the First Baptist Church in Shell Knob. Family was very important to Dianne, and she loved spending time with them.

Additional survivors include one son, Jody Strickland, of Huntsville, Alabama; one daughter, Sandra Strickland, of Shell Knob; one step-son, Brady Butler, of Prairieville, Louisiana; one step-daughter, Shellie Ramirez, of Gonzales, Louisiana; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Sheldon and Deanna Hooten, of Cassville.

Memorials may be made to Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory, P. O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
