Surrounded by her loving family, Donna Sue Robertson, age 59, of Cassville, Missouri, went home to be with Jesus and her beloved Taco, on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Daughter of Loren Eugene and Edna Marie (Sunderland) Robertson, Donna was born on June 30, 1963, in Elmhurst, Illinois, and welcomed home by her doting big sister, Jamie. The family would relocate to Missouri in 1973, where Donna would attend Cassville schools, graduating in 1981.

Following in her father's footsteps, Donna would go on to work at her local Walmart store, retiring after 32 years of faithful employment. You always knew Donna was working because you could hear her laughter ringing out across the store.

Donna was a devoted Christian and her life was a testimony of her love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. Whether it was bookkeeping, teaching children, playing tambourine, or simply cleaning the church kitchen, Donna spent her entire adult life joyfully serving within the church. Donna loved animals and was never happier than with one of her precious pets in her lap.

Donna was a kind and gentle soul, always ready to encourage, and help anyone in need. She was a rock for her family, and she loved them all fiercely. Donna was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include one sister, Jamie Smith, and her husband Frank, of Cassville; niece, Carrie Beck, and her husband Buddy, of Seligman; great neices, Kat Smith, and Krista Alden, and her husband Brian, all of Cassville; six great-greats, Jasmine, Desiree, Andreanna, CJ, Cayden, Mason; and her beloved yet tempermental cat, Peanut.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Edna Robertson, and her also temperamental chihuahua, Taco.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at White Funeral Home in Cassville, with Pastor Beverly Blankenship and Pastor Wilson Gauntt officiating.
