Donald "Donnie" Lee Antle, age 66, of Washburn, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, April 2, 2021. Mr. Antle, son of Evert and Geneva (Banks) Antle, was born on August 27, 1954, in Cassville. He was a 1972 Exeter High School graduate. On January 20, 1973, he was united in marriage to Treva Rose. Some of Donnie's' favorite pastimes were horses, motorcycles, and attending sale barn events. He loved his family dearly and was especially fond of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Papa, as Donnie was known to his grandchildren, always had a secret stash of candy and Little Debbie snacks and they all loved to find his secret stash. Donnie was a member of the Prairie Hill Baptist Church in Washburn where he was a long-time deacon.
Survivors include his loving wife, Treva Antle, of Washburn; two sons, Kevin Antle and his wife Vicki and Keith Antle, all of Washburn; one daughter, Kimmie Stringer and her husband Gary, of Washburn; seven grandchildren, Vanessa Antle, Samantha Antle, Ryan Antle, Tori Phillips and her husband Kenneth, Cody Stringer, Colten Stringer and his wife Kiley, and Kelsey Stringer; two great-grandchildren, Regan and Eden; one brother, Ronnie Antle and his wife Brenda, of Exeter; two sisters, Wilma Magee, of Exeter, and Linda Hurd and her husband Sammy, of Cassville; two brothers in-law, Charles Oxford, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Fred Black, of Seligman; one sister in-law, Gladys Wilbanks, of Washburn; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by one niece, Amy Antle; one nephew, David Magee; three brothers in-law, Johnny Magee, Orville Wilbanks, and Donnie Rose; and two sisters in-law, Lois Black and Betty Oxford.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at the White Funeral Home, Cassville, with Pastor Cody Stringer officiating. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter and words of comfort will be spoken by Pastor Jerry Williams.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6th at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home, Cassville, Missouri.
