Doris Anderson, age 94, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024, peacefully at her home. Doris, daughter of Fred and Ethel (Motz) Achey was born on August 3, 1929, in Cedar County, Iowa. On March 12, 1948, she married the love of her life, Russell Anderson in Wilton, Iowa. Doris worked at the University of Iowa as a dietician aide, Deli Family Foods in Tipton, Iowa, and Central Crossing Senior Center in Shell Knob, Missouri. She was the best mother any son could have asked for.

Survivors include three sons, Gary Anderson of Shell Knob, Missouri, Russell "Andy" Anderson and his wife Janet of Tipton, Iowa, and Rex Anderson of Tipton, Iowa; one daughter, Linda Dilocker and her husband Terry of Spencer, Iowa; six grandchildren; three sister, Betty Anderson, Catie Grage, and Marilyn Smith.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Anderson, one son, Freddy Anderson, three grandchildren, Johnny Anderson, Jeremy Anderson, Craig Anderson, one brother, Jake Achey, two sisters, Marge Anderson, and Phillis Rickles.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
