Dylan Ellis Welker, age 21, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019. Dylan, son of Ellis Welker and Becky (Van Sandt) Butterworth, was born on March 29, 1998, in Springfield, Missouri. He was a 2016 Crane High School graduate and went on to receive his welding certificate from the Missouri Welding Institute in Nevada. Dylan had been working with his father painting houses. He enjoyed four wheeling, golfing, and float trips with family and friends. Dylan was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his father, Ellis Welker, of Eagle Rock; one brother, Drew Norris and his wife Kara, of Pierce City; two sisters, Amanda Elliott, of Pierce City, and Robin Welker, of Georgia; his nieces and nephews, Paxton and Phoenix Elliott, Skylar and Lincoln Norris, and Lily and Kyah Holland; his maternal grandmother, Rose Van Sandt, of Butterfield; his paternal grandfather, Ellis "Pop" Welker, of Eagle Rock; four aunts, Tracy Dobyns and her husband Terry, of Monett, Bobbi Alexander and her husband James, of Cassville, Tonya Van Sandt, of Branson, and Mary Kennedy, of Eagle Rock; two uncles, Brad Van Sandt, of Monett, and James Belisle, of Springfield; numerous cousins including Aaron Belisle, Andrew Belisle and his fiancé Cassy, Steven Hickman, Mackenzie Hickman, Alexia "A.J." Belisle, Myles Brattin, Tyler Brattin, and Tabitha Volpe who he spent countless hours with and was very close to; and his bonus family, Luis, Henry, Honey, Junior, G-Ma and George, all of Galena.
Dylan was preceded in death by his mother, Becky Butterworth; maternal grandfather, Bob Van Sandt; paternal grandmother, Lynn Welker; his uncle, Billy Van Sandt; and two cousins, Kimber Van Sandt and Kameron Van Sandt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2019, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Minister Carolyn McNabb officiating; burial to follow at Log Church Cemetery in Butterfield.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time at the funeral home.
