Emogene Southern, age 90, of Fairview, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Mrs. Southern, daughter of Jason and Sarah (Tilley) Treat, was born on August 5, 1928, in Big Flat, Arkansas. On December 8, 1971, she was united in marriage to Kieth Southern in Reno, Nevada; he preceded her in death on April 26, 2009. Mrs. Southern enjoyed crossword puzzles, fishing, and crocheting. She loved reading her Bible and being with family.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Reece, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Don Reece, of Knoxville, Iowa; one daughter, Lena Marie Acklin and her significant other Robert Smith, of Wheaton; six grandchildren, Donald Reece, Jason Reece, Nene Acklin, Talena Acklin, Josh Acklin, and Brently Reece; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the Rocky Comfort Cemetery, with Pastor Randy Davis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5 ^th at the White Funeral Home in Cassville.
