Gary L. Burton, age 52, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Mr. Burton, son of Harold and Delezene (Roberts) Burton, was born on September 21, 1966, in Kirksville. He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Gary loved to make new friends and giving others a hard time. He enjoyed watching comedies, westerns and was very proud of his family. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his son, Logan Burton, of Cassville; two brothers, Randy Burton and his significant other Terri, of Nixa, and Bill Burton and his wife Lisa, of Cassville; three nephews, Josh Burton and his wife Juanita, of Cassville, Donald Burton, of Springfield, and Darren Burton and his wife Jennifer, of Nashville, Tennessee; two nieces, Kelly Randall and her husband Charles, of Illinois, and Nicole Craft and her husband Terrill, of Cassville; two aunts, Beverly Blodgett, of Kirksville, and Freda Slaughter and her husband Dale, of Madison, South Dakota; and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Bennie Burton; and one sister, Linda Scott.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Pastor Rick Cooper officiating.
