Gary Arther Courtney, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville. Mr. Courtney, son of Henry and Beverly (Howard) Courtney, was born on December 8, 1943, in Elko, Nevada. Upon graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country proudly. Gary enjoyed the outdoors such as hunting and fishing. He lived life to the fullest and loved being with family; he will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his son, Brian Courtney and his wife Rena, of Exeter; two daughters, Laura Osier, of Sacramento, California and Brandy Courtney, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Courtney, of Texas, Lee Courtney, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, and Scott Courtney, of Van Buren, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
