Gary Joe Johnston, age 66, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on July 26, 2020. Mr. Johnston, son of Norman and Elzora (Chevalier) Johnston, was born on June 07, 1954. He was united in marriage to Carla (Blue) Johnston on August 14, 1989 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. Gary enjoyed hunting and fishing in his free time, and was also an active member of the Community Faith Chapel.

Survivors include his two sons; Norman David Johnston of Ozark, Missouri, Jason Cole Johnston and his wife Katesha, of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Morgan and her husband Jason, of Fairland, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Hunter Johnston, Tanner Johnston, Jenna Morgan, Taylor Morgan and Owen Johnston; one brother, Dewey Johnston and his wife Bertha, of Quapaw, Oklahoma; one sister, Sherrey Moore and her husband Lee Roy, of Joplin, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one grandson, Levi Johnston.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
