Gene Raymond Moore, age 64, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020. Mr. Moore, son of Hurshall and Alice Lucille (Chapman) Moore, was born on March 31, 1956, in Kansas City, Kansas, and later moved to Shell Knob which has been his home for the last forty years. On September 20, 2017, he was united in marriage to Angie Crum in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gene was best known for his mechanic and welding work. Together with his father, he owned and operated Moore and Son Welding & Muffler Shop in Shell Knob which later became Moore's Service. Through the years, Gene helped a lot of people and many friendships were made; he lived life to the fullest and made lasting impressions in so many lives. He was currently working for Table Rock Boats in Shell knob. Gene was a jack-of-all-trades who also enjoyed boating, working on race cars, spending time with family and friends, and loved his dog, Bubba.
Survivors include his wife, Angie Moore, of Shell Knob; five sons, Rusty Rickard and his wife Tonya, Kyle Moore and his wife Kyla, Sean Hand and his wife Suzy, and T.J. Blalack, all of Shell Knob, and Eric Blalack, of Springfield; three daughters, Kasie Moore and Kelli Rickard, both of Shell Knob, and Lacey Tipton and her husband T.J., of Lampe; ten grandchildren with one on the way; one sister, Alice Marie Snoderly, of Kansas City; and three special friends who Gene thought of as brothers, Marvin Forrest, of Shell Knob, Keith Johnson, of Exeter, and Frank Carter, of Purdy.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his dog, Bubba.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2020, at Lohmer Full Gospel Church in Shell Knob, with Pastor David Donaldson and Pastor Lonnie Stockton officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Crossing Fire Protection District and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville Missouri.
