Obituary

George Martin Walter, Sr., age 75, of Golden, Missouri, passed away at his home, on Sunday, November 22, 2020.  Mr. Walter, was born on January 12, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Martin and Georgia (Smith) Walter.  On January 26, 1969, he was united in marriage to Dolores de Guzman in Angeles City, Phillippines.  Mr. Walter proudly served our country in the United States Army and later went on to work as an aircraft and quality assurance inspector.  George enjoyed fishing, traveling, and he was always busy working on something.  He loved spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.  George was a member of the Community Lutheran Church in Eagle Rock.

Survivors include, two sons, George Walter, Jr. and his wife Amanda, of Beaumont, California and Curtis Walter, of Eastvale, California; one daughter, Michelle MacGregor and her husband George, of Corona, California; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Georgia Velovich, of Tuscan, Arizona.

George was preceded in death by his parents.

George will be available for visitation on Friday, November 27, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.

A private burial will be held at the Springfield National Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
