Howard L. Tilford, age 77, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Mr. Tilford, son of Willis and Lula (Starkey) Tilford, was born on July 24, 1941, in Stella. He was a 1959 Washburn High School graduate. On November 9, 1962, he was united in marriage to Maye Vanderpool at the Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville. Mr. Tilford enjoyed the outdoors, such as hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-five years, Maye Tilford, of Cassville; one son, Robert Tilford and his wife Kimberly, of Cassville; one daughter, Monica Jennings and her husband Bill, of Washburn; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Tilford.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
