Ivan C. Sparks, age 92, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, June 14, 2024. Mr. Sparks, son of Noah and Ruby (Hollcroft) Sparks was born on June 8, 1932, in Arvada, Wyoming.  On September 2, 1956, Ivan was united in marriage to the love of his life, Gladys in Kansas City, Kansas. He loved restoring old cars, gardening, lending a helping hand anytime he could, loved his children and grandchildren with all of his being.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Sparks, of Seligman; one daughter, Jeanette Buyers and her husband Tim of Branson, Missouri; two sons, August Sparks and his wife Janice of Olathe, Kansas, and Karl Sparks and his wife Kim of Shawnee, Kansas; three grandchildren, Brian Anderson, Yvette Ball, and Victoria Mordhorst; and four great grandchildren, Vanessa Anderson, Dallas Ball, Gavin Mordhorst, and Oliver Mordhorst.

Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Ruby Sparks.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Kings Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri with Pastor Johnna Curry officiating.
