Obituary

Jacob Lee Branham, age 47, of Monett, Missouri, passed away on April 20, 2024, at Cox Hospital in Monett, Missouri. Jacob was born on December 12, 1976, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Cappy (Hagar) Branham. Jacob lost his voice at 3 ½ years old due to Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome- the worst form of Epilepsy. He was a warrior fighting unbelievable numbers in daily seizure activity. Jacob was a blessing to his family and his extended family, The Arc of The Ozarks. He taught compassion and loved all his special people. He made his family strong with a bond like no other, as his family considered being his care givers and honor to do so. Jacob was pure in heart until you left your plate unattended and game over. He will always be loved and greatly missed.

Survivors include his mother, Cappy Harris and her husband Steve; two brothers, Brandon Branham and his wife Jamie of Huntsville, Arkansas, and Kenny Branham and his wife Augusta Branham of Bentonville, Arkansas; one sister, Teresa Butts of Atlanta, Georgia: one stepbrother, Caleb Harris of Cassville, Missouri; one stepsister Lindsay Harris of Mountain Grove, Missouri; his grandmother, Eva Faucette of Washburn, Missouri; and seven nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Branham.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri, with James Weaver officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Missouri. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Pallbearers Brandon Branham, Kenny Branham, Steve Harris, Kendal Branham, Mason Arndt, Tyler Arndt.

Honorary Pallbearers Spencer Shue.
