Jacqulyn "Jackie" Louise (Sorensen) Voss, age 91, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away at her home on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Mrs. Voss, daughter of Creed and Etta (Thomas) Cain, was born on January 1, 1929, in Tekamah, Nebraska. On October 14, 1947, she was united in marriage to Glenn Sorensen in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and to this union four children were born; he preceded her in death on March 3, 1971. Subsequently, then married Mark Voss and he preceded her in death on August 26, 1989. Jackie was a strong, stubborn, one-of-a-kind hard working woman who had a heart of gold, and always put others before herself. She loved all of her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with each of them. Jackie was known as "Granny" by all her grandchildren and she played an important role in all their lives. She enjoyed going to the sale barn, gardening, crocheting, and embroidering. Jackie always welcomed everyone with her warm infectious smile and never knew a stranger. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include two sons, Bobby Sorensen and his wife Pat, and Donny Sorensen and his wife Susan, all of Exeter; one daughter, Etta Nesbitt Elliott, of Exeter; eight grandchildren, Rob Sorensen and his wife Teresa, of Cassville, Glenda Cassity and her husband Sherrell, of Exeter, Skip Nesbitt and his wife Felicity, of Rogers, Arkansas, Jeff Sorensen, of Exeter, Glenn Nesbitt and his wife Dana, of Oswego, Kansas, Toby Sorensen and his wife Marci, of Cassville, Becky Bowman and her husband Dale, of Exeter, and Mitch Sorensen and his wife Amanda, of Exeter; twenty-three great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Cain and his wife Marilyn, of Lowell, Arkansas; one sister, Diana Reynolds, of Springdale, Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Glenda Kay Sorensen; one grandson, Justin Sorensen; and three sisters, Pam Thibodeaux, Sharron Griffin and Burley Carter.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, with Pastor Jerry Yarnall officiating.

Friends may come by between 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to pay their respect on Saturday, at the White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville.
