James O. Clements, age 83, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away at the comfort of his home on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Mr. Clements, son of John and Annie (Bateman) Clements was born on February 6, 1935, in Crewe, Virginia. He was united in marriage to Freddie Clements on February 6, 1980; she preceded him in death on December 19, 2008. Mr. Clements served his country proudly his country proudly in the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the railroad as a trainmaster and also as a safety master coordinator. Mr. Clements enjoyed fishing, gardening, trains, and mowing the lawn.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda Dempsey, of Shawsville, Virginia; his grandson, Paul Curtis "PC" Tyree, of Shawsville, Virginia; two great-grandchildren; and special friends, Lori Chick and John Gorman, of Washburn.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
