James "Jim" Opal Dossett, age 65, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, after battling a lengthy illness.  Mr. Dossett, son of Bobby and Ester (Painter) Dossett, was born on January 3, 1957, in Terrell, Texas.

Mr. Dossett was a plumber by trade who owned and operated his own business for several years. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying trout fishing, archery and hunting. Jim even dabbled in photography, snapping pictures and documenting things for posterity sake.

Survivors include two sons, Terrell James Dossett, of Aurora, and Brent Matthew Dossett, of Seattle, Washington; one grandson, Mason James Dossett, of Aurora; one brother, Wesley Harrison, of Stockton; one sister, Bobby Branham, of Ridgley; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one sister, Honey Marie Singletary.

No services are scheduled at this time.  A private family burial will be held later this spring at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
