James "Jimmy" Ray Ford, age 90, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Aurora, Missouri.​ Mr. Ford, son of Thurman Pete and Ona (Bice) Ford, was born on May 15, 1930, in Sulfur Rock, Arkansas.​ For most of his life Jimmy was an over the road truck driver trying to make that load hauling freight for various companies.​ He had a huge heart, lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed playing cards, putting puzzles together, and reading his Bible.

Survivors include one brother Thurman Ford Jr, Granddaughter Rhonda, his nephew Perry McLeod and his wife Janice, of Aurora.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, son Gary, daughter Barbara, brother Billy Pete Ford, sisters Mary Etta Riley and Clara Belle Byler.

Interment will be at Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark, Arkansas at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.​ ​
