James "Jim" Withem, age 83, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Saturday February 24, 2024. Mr. Withem, son of James and Molly Withem, of Texarkana, Texas. Jim earned a BSBA degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Mr. Withem created RMS in Dallas, which established clients throughout Texas.

In 2002, Mr. Withem took seed money from his parents to establish the Jeffery Lane Withem Memorial Scholarship Fund at Watersprings Ranch, in memory of his son who passed away in 1993. Watersprings Ranch was established in 1989 in Texarkana, Arkansas, as a private Christian facility for abused, neglected, and abandoned children.

Survivors include his son, James and his wife Lisa; one brother Jack and his wife Natalie; one niece Sarah; and one nephew Jack.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Jeffery Lane Withem Memorial Scholarship Fund at Watersprings Ranch, 7707 Sanderson Lane, Texarkana, AR 71854.
