Janet Pippin, age 56, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Mrs. Pippin, daughter of Albert and Mary (Baker) Johnson, was born on June 5, 1963, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. On January 8, 2011, she was united in marriage to Dale Pippin. Janet worked for Kennametal in Rogers, Arkansas until her health started to decline. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and her flowers. Janet had a huge heart who always put others first. She lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Dale Pippin, of Seligman; two sons, Gregory Skelton and his wife Leslie, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Christopher Skelton, of Springdale, Arkansas; two daughters, Jessica Powell and her husband Richard, of Bangor, Maine, and Goldie Benjamin, of Bentonville, Arkansas; her mother, Mary Johnson, of Rogers, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb, Cambree, Kellen, and Alec; father in-law, James Pippin, of Seligman; one brother, Terry Johnson, of Rogers, Arkansas; three sisters, Sharon Morrow, and Nancy Pride and her husband Sidney , all of Rogers, Arkansas, and Linda Casey and her husband Frank, of Gravette, Arkansas; mother in-law, LeVeta Goldin and her husband Morry, of Battlefield; sister in-law, Linda Harris, of Seligman; and several nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Washburn, with Pastor Richard Jones officiating; burial to follow at King Cemetery in Seligman.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 13 th , from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
