Jean K. Ratley, age 92, of Purdy, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Mercy Hospital, Cassville, Missouri. Mrs. Ratley, daughter of Harvey and Katie (Frasier) Thompson, was born on July 18, 1926, in Harrisburg, Illinois. Upon graduating high school she continued her education and received her LPN certification. On November 30, 1946, she was united in marriage to Strother Ratley; he preceded her in death in January 1981. Mrs. Ratley enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casinos, and crocheting.

Survivors include one son, Terry Ratley and his wife Dianna, of Newton, Kansas; one daughter, Brenda Kesterson and her husband Robert, of Purdy; and three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Ratley; and three brothers.

Burial will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick, Kansas at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
