Jeannie Marie (Heuback) Shoup

Jeannie Shoup, age 73, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away at Cedarhurst of Springfield on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Jeannie was the daughter of Harold and Ernestine (Prough) Heuback Casner, born on August 9, 1950, she was united in marriage to Jack W. Shoup on March 13, 1976.

Jeannie grew up and went to school in Wichita, Kansas, graduated from West high school. They moved to Shell Knob when they retired in 1997. They enjoyed living at the lake. They then moved to Paris, Texas, for eight years. Due to health, they moved back to Shell Knob, in July 2020. Jeannie was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining, she enjoyed playing golf, making cards, and making scrapbooks. She worked as an office manager for a dermatology clinic, after graduating from a school for Medical Assistant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and stepfather Bill Casner, and brothers Keith Heuback and Jim Heuback.

Survivors include stepson Curtis Grimsley and his wife Ruth Ellen; Walter L. Shoup and his wife Pam and their grandchildren; sister-in-law Mary Ann Heuback; and Brother-in-law Walter Shoup and his wife Alice; and several nieces and nephews.

At her request she will be cremated with no services.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
