Jerry Donaldson, age 82, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away May 25, 2023, at his home. Mr. Donaldson, son of Delmer and Velma (Arnold) Donaldson, was born on November 25, 1940, in Carr Lane, Missouri. He was a 1958 graduate of Berryville, Arkansas, and went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas. Jerry was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. On December 26, 1969, he was united in marriage to Wanda Villines, in Compton, Arkansas; she survives. Jerry was an insurance agent, and in his later years he sold advertisements for The Rattler newspaper, in Shell Knob.

He was a member of the Shell Knob Masonic Lodge and the Abou Ben Adhem Shrine in Springfield. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge, and a life member of the V.F.W. Post 2203, both in Shell Knob.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Robertson, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two grandsons, Billy "Joe Buck" Robertson and his wife Lauren, Aaron Robertson and his wife Robin, all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, Gary Donaldson and his wife Diann, of Shawnee Mission, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Lohmer Church in Shell Knob, with Pastor David Donaldson officiating. Military services will be performed by the U.S. Navy. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital in care of the funeral home.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, of Cassville, Missouri.
