Obituary

Jesse David Perez, age 75, of Pierce City, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  The son of Guillermo Perez and Lillia Rivas, Jesse was born on March 31, 1946 in Clarksville, Texas.  He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses when he was 18 and remained devoted to Jehovah God until his death.  On November 8, 1969, he was united in marriage to Judith Brown at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Neosho, Missouri.  David was a loving man, who enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  He also enjoyed spending time reading the Bible, was always an encouragement, and was always there to be a listening ear for others.  David was loved by so many.  He left a lasting impression on so many lives and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife Judith Perez, of Pierce City; three daughters, Jennafir Monroe and her husband Jeremy, of Harrison, Arkansas, Rachel Nicole Monroe and her husband Ben, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Amanda Alexander and her husband Joshua, of Pierce City; six grandchildren, Lillia, Sophia, Barron Asher "Bash", Samuel, Zenobia, and Mercedes; one sister, Angie Flores, of Vernon, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Manuel Calderon, Mary Flores, Anita Segura, Will Perez, and Royce Perez.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at the Newtonia IOOF Cemetery in Granby, Missouri.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
