Jesse George Moore, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 75. He was born at home in Grady County, Oklahoma, on May 14, 1950, to Tolbert and Doffeene Moore.

On June 5, 1970, Jesse married the love of his life, Lura DiAnn Moore. Their 55 years of marriage were built on deep love, mutual respect, and an unshakable commitment to family. Jesse was a man of great integrity, quiet strength, and unwavering work ethic.

A very hard worker all his life, Jesse began his career with the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, where he worked as a computer programmer. He later spent time working in the oil field before finding his calling at the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. There, he served faithfully until his retirement in 2008. Even after retiring, Jesse continued working—joining Power Engineering, where he remained until his cancer diagnosis in 2018. Throughout each stage of his career, Jesse was known for his dependability, problem-solving mind, and strong sense of responsibility.

Jesse is survived by his devoted wife, Lura DiAnn Moore, and their three children: - Son, Neal Moore and his family—Nancy, Jesse, and Karley - Daughter, Brandi Lofdahl and her family—Adam, Seth, Aiden, and Jacob - Daughter, Beth Shelden and her family—James, Payton, Andrea, and Sarah

He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and great-grandfather to eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Tolbert and Doffeene Moore, and his brothers Bill Moore, Wayne Moore, and Jimmy Moore. He is survived by his brother, E.T. Moore and wife Rose, and his sister, Joyce Moore.

While the family's hearts are hurting, they are also thankful that Jesse is now at home with Jesus, healed and whole. His deep faith and gentle strength will remain a lasting comfort and guide for those who loved him.

A private service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in Jesse's name to the giver's choice.
