Obituary

Jo Ann Corn, age 83, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jo Ann was born on January 24, 1943, in Busch, Arkansas, to Orville and Ruby (Robinette) Lundy. On March 27, 1963, she married the love of her life, Johnny Corn, in Cassville, Missouri. Together they built a life filled with love, family, faith, and cherished memories.

Jo Ann's greatest joy in life was her family, especially her precious grandchildren. Her grandbabies were truly her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose love and kindness touched everyone around her.

She had a passion for gardening and took great pride in her yard, spending countless hours tending flowers and keeping everything beautiful. Walking was part of her daily routine, and she rarely missed a day. Jo Ann loved traveling, cooking delicious meals for her family, and baking treats that brought everyone together.

Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she embraced the season with unmatched enthusiasm. She went all out each year with decorations, celebrations, and traditions, creating magical memories for her family and community. Jo Ann was very active in the Seligman Senior Center, her church family at the First Baptist Church of Seligman, and numerous community events. She especially looked forward to participating in and supporting the annual Christmas Parade.

Jo Ann also had a lifelong love for Elvis Presley. His music brought her great joy throughout the years, and he held a very special place in her heart.

Jo Ann will be remembered for her warm smile, generous spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family and community. Her legacy of kindness, service, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Jo Ann is survived by three sons, Richard D. Corn, of Afton, Oklahoma, Robert "Little Bob" Corn, of Grove, Oklahoma, and Ron Corn and his wife, Angie, of Seligman; six grandchildren, LaCosta Elliot, Lacey Ennes, Michaela Corn, Joshua Corn, Alycea Patterson, and McKenzie Brophy and her husband Geoffery; ten great-grandchildren, Presley Elliot, Maddie Elliot, Annlee Ennes, Karson Corn, Brooklyn Corn, Rowyn Brophy, Ridgelyn Clark, Riverlyn Brophy, Noah Patterson, and Lainey Corn.
