Joann "Jody" Dorris, age 75, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 24, 2020. Jody, daughter of Lenord and Dorothy (Schaeffer) Comstock, was born on March 12, 1945, in Denver, Colorado. In 1989 she was united in marriage to Steve Dorris. Mrs. Dorris did various odd jobs such as, sewing, painting and roofing, but most of all she enjoyed being a housewife and spending time with her family. Jody had a personality that will never be forgotten and will be missed by many.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Dorris, of Cassville; two sons, Luke Ochoa, of Cassville and Eric Dorris, of Grove, Oklahoma; three grandchildren; two brothers, Lenny Comstock and Michael Comstock both of Denver, Colorado; and one sister, Carol Dater, of Denver, Colorado.

Jody was preceded in death by her parents.

A private service will be held by the family in Denver, Colorado at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
