John Cosper, age 85, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at his home on March 24, 2023. Mr. Cosper, son of Andrew Cosper and Ruth (Horlacher) Cosper, was born on January 7, 1938, in Bakersfield, California, and eventually settled in the Jenkins community.

He was united in marriage to Nancy Day on November 22, 1957; she survives. He was employed by Burlington Northern railroad for 34 years before his retirement in 2000. John was an avid fisherman and had a love for restoring antique cars from ground up. He loved car shows and attended any car show he could. Johns' kids and grandchildren were his prize possessions.

In addition to his wife of 65 years, he is survived by one son, Edward "Drew" Cosper and his wife Samantha of Cassville; two daughters, Shelly Carter and her husband Frank of Seligman, and Kit Eagan and her husband Keith of Seligman; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great -grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 30,2023, under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
