John Wesley Wilson, age 85, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away peacefully Friday, May 10,2024, at his home in Cassville, Missouri. John was born on March 22, 1939, in Pratt, Kansas, to Charlie and Mable (Bucker) Wilson. Mr. Wilson served in The United States Army from 1959 to 1962. John was not a fan of being stuck inside so any chance he got he was outside in the garden or tinkering in his barn and garage, he was also an avid deer hunter.

Survivors include his loving companion, Mary Mink; two sons, Clay Wilson and his wife Nora of Raytown, Missouri, and Richard Wilson of Exeter, Missouri; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

John was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Preston Wilson and two brothers.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri. A graveside service with full military honors will be held Friday, May 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
