Obituary

Johnny J. Berry, age 59, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Cox Hospital in Springfield. Mr. Berry, son of Delmer and Betty (DeLong) Berry, was born on September 23, 1959, in Aurora. Johnny loved the outdoors such as farming and being in the hay fields. He was a jack-of-all trades and could fix anything. Johnny enjoyed writing Christian songs and sharing them at area churches. His daughters and granddaughter were his pride and joy. Johnny was always there to help others and was a friend to many; he will be greatly missed.

Survivors include two daughters, Becka Johnson and her husband Chad, of Eagle Rock, and Reanna Berry, of Exeter; his granddaughter, Blakely Bokor , of Eagle Rock; five brothers, James Berry and his wife Rose, of Cassville, Walter Berry and his wife Sherry, of Exeter, Ray Berry, of Galena, Troy Berry and his wife Donna, of Exeter, Emanuel Berry and his wife Dianna, of Purdy; six sisters, Louise Moore and her husband Robert, of Butterfield, Betty Cotton and her husband Johnny, of Gateway, Arkansas, Ruby Orr and her husband David, of Cassville, Wilma Hile and her husband John, of Cassville, Naomi Truesdell and her husband Allen, of Odessa, and Florine Cotton and her husband Jimmy, of Cassville; and numerous nieces and nephews

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Delmer "Gene" Berry.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the United Methodist Church in Cassville, with Evangelist John Hile and Pastor Andy Lambel officiating. Burial to follow at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20 th at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.
