Kameron Van Sandt, age 19, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Kameron, son of Billy and Tonya (Swartz) Van Sandt, was born on January 9, 1999, in Springfield, Missouri. He was a 2017 Branson High School graduate. Kameron loved sports and was one day hoping to play Major League Baseball or be a sports announcer. Kameron was a very loving and caring person, who had a contagious smile and lived life to the fullest. He was a true friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his mother, Tonya Van Sandt and his step-father, Robert Hilburn, of Branson; one brother, Shady Van Sandt, of Branson; his nephew, Trey Farrales, of Nixa; his paternal grandmother, Rose Van Sandt, of Purdy; his maternal grandmother, Iris Philbrick, of Branson; two aunts, Bobbi Alexander and Tracy Dobyns; his uncle, Brad Van Sandt; and several cousins.
Kameron was preceded in death by his father, Billy Van Sandt on March 24, 2007; his sister, Kimber Van Sandt on November 16, 2015; and his aunt, Becky Butterworth.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, with Pastor Benji Morgan officiating; a visitation will follow after the service. A private family burial will be held at the Arnhart Cemetery in Purdy at a later date.
