Karolyn Sue Thornton, aged 58, passed away on November 12, 2024, following a courageous battle against cancer. Karolyn was born on May 6, 1966, in Maryville, MO. She was a beloved wife, mother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Karolyn married her husband of 37 years, Donald, on June 27, 1987. Together, they welcomed three daughters and have been blessed with seven grandchildren.

Karolyn has selflessly devoted her life to her family. She had a heart for giving, loved to decorate for holidays and events, enjoyed hours of scrapbooking, and ventured into the food trailer business. Karolyn and Donald owned and ran Ole Granary Tenderloins, a family business, that served the Cassville, MO area from 2018 through 2021.

Karolyn is survived by her husband, Donald, her daughters, Kelsey Lane (Philip), Kortney Thornton, Jessica Walker (William) and her grandchildren, Theodore, Caleb, Penelope, Benjamin (Lane), Jonah, Ella, and Aaron (Walker). Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Memorial donations are welcomed to the Backpack program at Cassville Schools and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.

A funeral service will be held for family and close friends.
