Kathleen Ellen Nuzum, age 94, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Point Lookout Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hollister, Missouri. Kathleen was born on December 1, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Wesley and Grace (Williams) Brown.

Kathleen was an avid gardener, spending countless hours tending to her beautiful garden. Her green thumb was well-known, and her garden was often the envy of neighbors and a source of pride and joy for Kathleen. She found peace and solace in the simple act of nurturing plants and watching them bloom under her care.

Fishing was another of Kathleen's passions. She enjoyed the tranquility of the water and the thrill of the catch, often spending weekends at the lake with her family. The joy of fishing was something she shared with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that they will cherish forever.

Kathleen's love for her family and friends was immense and unwavering. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and loved, whether through her warm hugs, kind words, or thoughtful gestures. Her home was always open to family and friends, and she cherished the moments spent together, whether it was celebrating holidays, birthdays, or simply enjoying each other's company.

Survivors include two daughters, Lori Borich of Shell Knob and her late husband David and Suzan White of Shell Knob; one grandson Michael Price; three great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.

Kathleen is preceding in death by her parents Wesley and Grace Brown; two sisters, Lena Hirsch and Mary Hale; two brothers Ted Brown and Don Brown.
