Kenneth Earl Weiss, 66, of Monett, MO, passed away on April 11, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1959, to Dr Earl and Dolores (Mathes) Weiss. He grew up in Garden City, KS, attending school there and graduating from Garden City High School in 1977. Kenny was a true cowboy. He worked in Garden City, Kansas, for Engles feed lot for approximately 25 years before moving to Missouri where he worked as electrician and his spare time helped with a young guns rodeo company which put on rodeos for the MJRC. He was well liked and appreciated for all his hard work from all the kids that were around him on the weekends. He had a keen eye for horses and was also a really good hand with one. He will be missed in the cowboy world.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Bernie, of East Purdy, one son Cody (Brittany) Weiss of Bingham Canyon, UT, one daughter Staci (Brody) Ireland of Coos Bay, OR, nine grandchildren: Morgan Pietramali, Blake Graybill, Stormi Ireland, Brayden Foil, Rextyn Foil, Kinsley Foil, Adelaide Weiss, Brooklyn Weiss, and Waylon Weiss, two sisters: Sharlene Gronau of Eagle River, AK, and JoAnn (Dennis) Conway of Greeley, CO.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Dolores Weiss, a daughter, Kara Foil, a grandson Hunter Weiss, and two sisters: Karen Medlin and Shirley Weiss.
Memorials may be made to Missouri Junior Rodeo Circuit and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
The body has been cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
