Kimberly Hunter, age 52, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.  Mrs. Hunter, daughter of Dean and Paula (Barber) Cornette, was born October 21, 1968, in Lindsey, California.  On March 11, 2016, she was united in marriage to Steven Hunter in Cassville.  Kim loved life and lived it to the fullest. Some of her favorite pastimes were riding horses and making Native American Indian arts and crafts such as dream catchers.  Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her, and she loved spending time with them.  Kim was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband, Steven Hunter, of Exeter; three sons, Brian Barber and his wife Valerie, Bradley Meek and his significant other K.C. Bickford, and Bret Meek, all of Cassville; one daughter, Brittnei Meek, of Berryville, Arkansas; several grandchildren; two brothers, John Cornett, of Cassville, and Donald Cornett, of Benton, Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanie Roberts.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
