Obituary

Landon Dallas Long, age 26, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Landon, son of Lance and Dawn (Barrett) Long, was born on May 31, 1994, in Aurora. He had the biggest heart and always made time for his nieces and nephews. Landon enjoyed drawing, hanging out with his friends, his dog Buddy, and going to the lake. Landon will always be remembered by his outgoing personality, infectious smile, and never missing a chance to have a good time. Though he was only with us a short while, Landon left a lasting impression in all our lives and will be greatly missed by so many.

Survivors include his parents, Lance and Dawn Long, of Cassville; four sisters, Misty Long, of Des Moines, Iowa, Megan Long, of Mannford, Oklahoma, Belinda Vance and her husband Zach, of Cassville, and Britani Long, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; six nieces and nephews, Logan Vance, Grayson Vance, Ariana Starchman, Lillyana Starchman, Dallas Miller, and Delburt Miller; his paternal grandfather, Larry Long, of Aurora; his maternal grandfather, William Edward Barrett, Jr., of Shell Knob; his uncle, Eddie Barrett, of Shell Knob; his aunt, Doris Carothers and her husband Rick, of Pittsburg; three cousins, Cecil McCloud, of Pittsburg, Sean Barrett and his wife Sandy, and Little Eddie Barrett, all of St. Louis; and several other extended family members.

Landon was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carol Long; his maternal grandmother, Nelva Barrett; and his cousin, Jayme McCloud.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.

Burial to follow at Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
