Larry Arnold Watts, 74, from Eagle Rock, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, October 07, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with health issues. Larry was born March 02, 1951, to his parents, George and Gwenn Watts. He grew up with his twin brother, two older brothers, and older sister in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his high school diploma and Commercial Driver's License. Larry was known for his work ethic, driving eighteen wheelers for over thirty-five years through all the lower forty-eight states and parts of Canada.
He enjoyed trout fishing, boating, hunting, and playing games with family, being known as a natural winner of Hand and Foot card game. He was a collector of various items, acquiring multiple treasures from yard sales and displaying and re-selling collectables in the booth he managed with his wife at a local antique store.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Barry, his sister Bonnie, brother Jamie, infant daughter, and infant granddaughter Nova Johnson.
Larry is survived by his devoted and loving wife of almost eighteen years, Joyce Watts, whom he adored and spent most all of his time with, his sons Jason Watts (Lauren), Aaron Watts (Helen), Dan Buckner (Carmella), daughter Amber Douglass (Barry), grandchildren Stevie DeCosta, Cynthia Watts, Jaqueline Watts, June Watts, Riley Watts, Robyn Watts, Jaiden Watts, Nathan Buckner, Hailey Buckner, Destiny Miller, Taylor Gregory, great-grandchildren Trey Decosta, Anthony Shaffer, Avery Gregory, Stevie Gregory, brother Kim (Loretta), and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on October 9, 2025, from 5:00PM-7:00 PM at the Sho Me Event Center in Cassville, Missouri.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
